Broome institute camp 2020
On the 4th and 5th of July the Kimberley Cluster had their first Institute Camp at James Price Point, just one hour north of Broome. In total there were 26 participants spanning a wide age range involving a Book 1 study, BCC and JY program. The aim of the camp was to propel the institute process forward and create stronger bonds of friendship within the friends who have been engaging in the process unfolding in Broome. The camp was attended by 11 friends of the Faith plus a number of visitors from Perth and the Pilbara.
The camp coordinator was a newly enrolled believer who rallied her family to become involved in the institute process. A few Junior Youth and their siblings attended, who planned and taught a Children’s Class and continued their study of the Junior Youth text ‘Wellspring of Joy’. The children explored the concept of building a Mashriqu’l-Adhkar. Whole group prayers were held around the campfire morning and evening with a beautiful spirit of joy and unity.
