WA Winter Initiative 2019 recap

The 2019 WA Winter Initiative was a great success — over 60 people participated from Perth, Peel, Great Southern, South West and the Goldfields.

The youth developed true friendships with each other through arts, games, sports and evening activities as well as the study of the Ruhi Institute material, through which they learnt how they can improve as individuals and be a catalyst for change in their local communities.

The youth have now gone back to their communities and have begun putting what they’ve learnt into practice — teaching Bahá’í children’s classes, animating junior youth groups and hosting spaces for prayer, meditation and elevated discussion. We’re all looking forward to the camp in October!
